Spinal Molding
BENEFITS: PERFORMED TO MOLD THE PROPER CURVATURE INTO THE CERVICAL AND LUMBAR REGIONS OF THE SPINE.
Position: Lying on the floor with knees bent up. If it's more comfortable you can place a pillow under your your knees.
Time: 20 minutes
When: Directly before going to bed at night.
How:
- Always do spinal molding warm-ups first while on wobble chair or on the edge of the bed.
- The triangular shaped fulcrum is used for your neck and the flat part should be placed up against the shoulders
with the head resting back on the angled part.
- The L-Shaped fulcrum is used for the low back support and bump should be positioned under the last set of ribs.
- Your knees stay bent for the entire 20 minutes
- Set a timer or have somebody time you to ensure you do not fall asleep while doing your spinal molding.
- When the 20 minutes is up you will roll to your side and slowly get up and go directly to bed on your cervical pillow.
